Vintage Art Deco 1930s pink glass Czech brooch. This intricate brooch has filigree work with pink glass facetted stones, 3D balls and flowers, set in a gold tone metal.

CZECH & BOHEMIAN GLASS
Bohemia played an important role in costume jewellery. Bohemian costume jewellers pioneered cut-glass imitation gemstones and pearls. Bohemia gemstones where such good quality they rivalled beads produced in Venice during the 1920s.

The brooch measures 5cm / 1.9" in length and 2.5cm / 0.9" in width.
